This experience is a physical activity which involves walking up hills and over uneven terrain. You must be capable of walking at a pace that keeps up with the rest of the group without putting a strain on your health so please consider this before attending the experience. Please contact us before booking if you are unsure about this.

Bookings:

All experiences must be booked in advance and the balance paid prior to departure.

Please let us know of any special dietary needs on booking.

Bookings are transferable, with 48 hours notice, if you are unable to attend.

Cancellation:

48 hours notice for cancellations is required and we will endeavour to rearrange your experience.

No refunds are available for cancellations unless in exceptional circumstances.

 

Adventurous Alpacas reserve the right to cancel any event at our discretion to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests. Notification will be given as soon as possible to reschedule the experience.

Weather:

We reserve the right to change the advertised event for the safety and comfort of our customers.

We do not accept responsibility for any costs or expenses you may incur due to postponement of any event.

​​

You should wear appropriate outdoor clothing and waterproof footwear. We require all guests to disinfect their footwear on arrival, and we accept no responsibility for any damage to footwear due to this.

Health & Safety:

Adventurous Alpacas shall not assume any liability whatsoever for any personal injury or loss or damage to personal property.

Medical care is the financial responsibly of the ill/injured person(s).

By booking a event we assume you are fit to complete the distance advertised. This will be over uneven or hilly ground, please contact us to discuss any issues this may raise before booking.

 

Please note that there are many biting flies in the fields during the summer season so if you have any allergies please ensure you are adequately protected.

Your safety and the safety of others is our main concern. You must obey all instructions given at the beginning of the event.

​

We reserve the right to refuse to allow anyone to continue a event if they put themselves or others at risk.

​

Children of 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. We will use our discretion to decide whether a child is capable of trekking with an alpaca single-handedly or, if not, we will attach an extra lead rope for the parent to hold.

No pets are permitted on events.

Adventurous Alpaca reserve the right to use all photographs and videos in our promotional material (including posts on social media). Please let us know if you want to withdraw your consent.
